What is PDARI?
The Professional Driver Accountability Reporting Index (PDARI) is a voluntary roadway-safety initiative used by professional drivers, delivery personnel, and authorized ridesharing operators throughout the entire United States.
How's-My-Driving.com serves as the official public-facing portal for the National Driver Accountability Database (NDAD), through which all PDARI-enrolled drivers may receive, review, and respond to public driving feedback reports.

How The Process Works

| 1 | Driver registers with NDAD and receives a FREE official bumper sticker pack by mail. |
| 2 | Driver applies bumper sticker(s) to their vehicle. Sticker displays the driver's license plate. |
| 3 | Member of the public observes driver behavior and visits hows-my-driving.com. |
| 4 | Reporting party enters the vehicle's license plate and submits an official PDARI complaint form. |
| 5 | Complaint is logged in the NDAD database. Driver receives automated email notification. |
| 6 | PDARI investigation is automatically initiated. Case is assigned a unique NDAD case number. |
| 7 | Driver logs into NDAD Driver Dashboard to review the complaint. |
| 8 | Driver selects an official pre-approved response and transmits it to the reporting party. |
| 9 | Both parties have been heard. The road is safer. Everyone feels better. |
PDARI Compliance Standards
All submissions are logged in the National Driver Accountability Database for quality-assurance review. Upon receipt of a report, an investigation is automatically initiated under PDARI Case Review Procedure §4.1.
Any registered driver receiving three (3) or more verified reports within any ninety (90) day period may be subject to summary termination from the PDARI program and will be flagged in the National Driver Accountability Database as "UNDER REVIEW."

The NDAD/PDARI initiative is a privately operated, nationwide roadway‑safety program dedicated to promoting law‑abiding citizenship, responsible driving habits, and positive roadway culture. Participation in PDARI is entirely voluntary and open to professional drivers, delivery personnel, and authorized ridesharing operators who wish to demonstrate a commitment to safe and courteous driving.
PDARI does not provide discounts, incentives, or preferential consideration from insurance providers, employers, contracting agencies, or regulatory bodies. Enrollment confers no financial, legal, or employment‑related benefits of any kind.
Instead, the program exists to encourage self‑improvement, public accountability, and constructive communication between drivers and the communities they serve. PDARI offers a structured, fair, and respectful channel through which members of the public may express observations, share concerns, and provide feedback regarding the responsibility level of participating drivers — always in a positive, proactive, and healthy manner of expression.
Throughout the United States, posted speed limits represent maximum lawful speeds, not mandatory minimums. Operating a motor vehicle at or below the posted limit is legal nationwide when conditions warrant safe operation.
All states prohibit following another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent (commonly known as tailgating). While statutory language varies, the underlying safety principle is universal.
On the federal interstate system, most freeways maintain a minimum speed of approximately 45 mph, except when conditions make such speed unsafe. This minimum does not apply to rural backroads, county routes, or unposted local roads.
NDAD/PDARI does not issue citations, determine fault, or make legal judgments. The program's purpose is to support safer driving, encourage accountability, and promote respectful dialogue among roadway users across the nation.
